The Black Women's Support Association is an extraordinary community based association that was founded in the 1980's by the late Jeanette Wade and her Pastor, Reverend Dr. Waylon Melton. Mrs. Wade's vision and our mission is to provide women of all ages and backgrounds with the opportunity to share and promote their needs, concerns, skills, and talents in a positive, supportive, and empowering manner all the while promoting personal, spiritual, interpersonal, and economic growth. We believe we have the right and the ability to utilize our collective power not only for self-enrichment, but for positive community change and global growth.
